We wanted to start today's post by saying how impressed we are with everyone using Clover Sites right now. Seriously, most of you guys have barely had access to our newest product for a few weeks and already we're seeing some really interesting sites and creative uses for the new features. A lot of you have really taken advantage of the parallax scrolling feature to add some unique motion to your pages and more than a few gallery sections have caught our attention with their dynamic, beautiful images.
We're literally just a few days away from the Clover Sites 3 beta launch (starting on June 22nd!), and we wanted to take one last look at the transition process for current customers. Hopefully this gives you guys already using Clover, some good resources you can use to make switching from your current website to CS3 as easy as possible.

One of the things that makes section-based editing so great is how easy it is to add features many of us use. Let's say you wanted to add a list of staff members to your website - normally you’d have to manually create the list from scratch. With our new List Section, we do all the hard work so you can focus on the content.
With Clover Sites 3, we created the gallery section where you can advertise things happening in your ministry, or highlight upcoming events. It really provides a great way to grab people's attention and showcase the most important information when they land on your site. These sections can be used all throughout your website - not just on the homepage - and are perfect for creating slideshows, banners, or even small photo albums.
One of the things we've heard lots of you asking for is more text control with Clover Sites 3. Text takes up such a huge portion of your website, it makes sense that you'd want more control over how it appears.
Adding photos to your website is one of those things that should be really easy, but rarely is with most website tools. With the current version of Clover Sites, we really felt like we figured that out - everything is so simple. And so, the challenge with Clover Sites 3 was to find a way to translate that approach into the brand new version. We feel like we've done that, and made some great improvements as well that we can continue to build on.
With the current version of Clover Sites, adding text to your website is as simple as possible. We take care of pretty much everything related to the design so you can literally just type and never have to think about the styling of your text (with the exception of a few controls we included like bold, italic, and a couple options for text size).
While we're still some months away from our official launch, we're really excited today to be launching a promotional site for Clover Sites 3! First and foremost, this website will help you learn more about this new version of Clover Sites and give you an even better taste for the features we'll be launching with. It also has answers to the questions we hear most frequently from current, as well as potential customers. We've also made a quick video to give you an overview of what Clover Sites 3 is all about:
